Traffic Company Review

Posted on October 31, 2021May 24, 2022 by Julia D.

We want to start a series of reviews for some tools and networks used in affiliate marketing and in online marketing in general.

Today’s pick is Traffic Company!

As a lot of networks come and go, we want to discuss a network that has been thriving for many years already.

Traffic Company is one of the best CPA-Networks in the market. Next to having (exclusive) direct campaigns, they are also direct advertiser with their own in-house offers.

With this, Traffic Company is known to give you the maximum result from your (mobile) traffic with access to top performing IN-HOUSE Click to Call and Mobile Content campaigns.

Some key factors we’re really excited about:

  1. In-house Developed offers

With Traffic Company you have access to top In-house developed Rev-share and CPA offers. By removing the middle man they are able to get you the highest payouts possible!

2. Reliable (weekly) payouts

No Matter what payout method you choose, payouts are always made on time. Next to that, Traffic Company offers weekly payments for everyone who’s running their In-house IVR/Click2Call campaigns.

3. Dedicated Account Managers

Traffic Company’s Account managers are always very helpful with 24/7 support, useful tips and insights. When signing up, you will be assigned to a dedicated account manager who will help you with everything you need.

4. Automatic Optimization

Their algorithm compares a wide array of user data (such as country, mobile carrier, device) to find the best converting offers for your traffic.

5. 5% Referral Bonus

In order to earn something extra with minimal effort, Traffic Company offers an extra 5% of the revenue of each user that signs up through your referral link.

Verticals

I know they are very important to know, so here is the list.

The verticals Traffic Company is currently active in are among others:

  • Mainstream Video
  • Adult Video
  • Games
  • Sweepstakes (In-house IVR/ Click2Call)
  • Utilities
  • Dating
  • Loan/Insurance

In the past, Traffic Company has been very known for their Mobile Content (VAS) campaigns. Even though this is still thriving, in order to keep up with the market, Traffic Company is adding different verticals to their portfolio from time to time as well.

This way they are able to keep growing and evolving. One of their newest additions is the dating vertical which is already a huge success. Recently they started their own USA white label which can be accessed by publishers with proven tracked records on this vertical.

IVR/Click2Call campaign

However, as many of you probably already know, one of Traffic Company’s main assets in the past 2 years, has been their In-house IVR/Click2Call.

These Click2Call campaigns are available in different angles, but the angle that Traffic Company is most proud of is their Click2Call with Sweepstake angle.

These campaigns are classified as Click2Call/IVR, however, you can also see it as a sweepstake campaign with 1-click flow.

The reason for this is because the user only needs to click on the call button in order to make the call and everything after that is handled by Traffic Company.

Flows

When choosing a campaign, affiliates need to think about what type of campaign they want’’ to run. One of the key factors here is a good CR, or in other words ‘’a world class performance. Something that plays a really important role in this is the campaign flow.

Some of the flows that are available at Traffic Company are Click flows, PIN flow, SMS/MO, SOI & DOI, and Click to Call (IVR).

Click Flow

Click flow is one of the easiest flows to convert. In general there are two types of click flow namely, 1-click and 2-click flow. The name says it all, with a 1-click flow the user only has to press  a confirmation button once in order to subscribe, and with a 2-click flow the user needs to confirm twice. After the confirmations has taken place, the user will be subscribed immediately and your will have a sale!

Pin flow

Also a very common flow is a PIN flow.

With PIN submit the user will be asked to fill in their phone number. When the phone number has been provided, the user will in return receive a PIN code by SMS which often consist of a 4 digit number. The sale has been made, straight after the PIN has been entered and validated. Even though the above is quite common, there also is a different version which is a Hybrid PIN flow where there is no need to fill in a phone number.

SMS/MO

With SMS/MO flow, the user needs to send an SMS in order to confirm their subscription. Because there are more steps required by the user-  this flow requires more time and effort compared to the above mentioned flows.

SOI/DOI

A SOI (Single opt-in) flow only requires one action, which often includes filling in a form or implementing an email address.

With DOI (Double opt-in) they make it a bit harder as here more actions are required to make the sale happen. The first part is often the same as with SOI, namely, the user needs to fill in something like their email address or a form. After they have filled in the required data, they have to click on a confirmation link which is send by email for example.

IVR/Click2Call

As mentioned before, Traffic Company has their own In-house IVR/Click2Call campaigns.

With IVR/Click2Call the user will get a 1-click flow on 3G traffic and a a 2-click flow on Wifi.

This is because the carrier needs to be detected in order to make the call happen. With 3G this is automatically detected so the user only needs to click on the call button and the call will happen automatically. With Wifi, the user only needs to select their operator first, before they can click on the call button.

When the call starts, the user will get to hear a voice file and the longer they stay on the phone, the higher the payout.

Features

They offer a lot of different features to make it easier for their affiliates.

When going to the offer wall, you will find all the available verticals and flows.

Next to that, there is a section with ‘’hot offers’’ that is being updated regularly.

When you’ve chosen a specific campaign, you can track and monitor all your results on the dashboard and you can filter on many things such as period, geo, carrier, device, flow, offer, connection type and so on.

But that’s not all, cause Traffic Company also has a Smart Link which makes sure to automatically find the best converting offers for your traffic. This way, all you have to do is send traffic- and they do the rest.

Traffic Company Categories

More into direct link campaigns?

No worries. Don’t forget to turn on your Conversion Optimizer as this will make sure that traffic with incorrect targeting or traffic to a disabled offer will automatically get sent to your Smartlink and won’t end up dead.

Recommendations

On the Traffic Company Dashboard, there are sections on the right side, displaying Live Click to Call Performance, Live Click to SMS Performance, Top Direct Link Offers, and Top Smart Link Countries.

These are used to help publishers get the most out of their traffic. The Live Click to Call Performance is focused on their In-House IVR/Click2Call. It displays factors such as Country, Carrier, eCPM (last 15 min), eCPM (last 24 hours), and performance.

To give even more insight, Traffic Company also has a IVR/Performance API which shows the same data as mentioned above and more, such as the the eCPC (average click-based eCPM) of the last 15 minutes and 24 hours, as well as the aCPA (Average CPA) of the last 24 hours in euros.

If you prefer spending your days on Telegram, they also have a Traffic Company Click2Call/ IVR updates group where top revenue by carrier and top eCPM by carrier are being send out 3 times a day (Go here if you want to join).

In addition, If you choose to run Traffic Company’s IVR/Click2Call campaigns, don’t hesitate to try their pre-landers as well.

A great feature they offer is that you can choose between 18 pre-landers that go with their in-house campaign. You can choose to run any of these for free and you can choose to promote any prize you want! Also, if you ask nicely, Traffic Company can even help you with creatives for these campaigns.

Conclusion

Traffic Company is a good network for both starters and experienced publishers.

Their interface is easy to navigate and their Account Managers really take the time to help where they can and to achieve successful campaigns.

Next to that, they have a great list of both in-house as (Exclusive) direct campaigns.

If you haven’t already, go check them out yourselves here!

And Traffic Company is already integrated in CPV Lab Pro and can be used with just a few clicks, check the guide here! 😉
