Affiliate marketing tracking - case study - solo ad campaign

Case Study: 7DaysBuyer’s Traffic Source

Posted on March 3, 2023March 5, 2023 by Patrick H

Hey guys,

This is a special CPV Lab case study using a traffic source called 7DaysBuyers that focuses on solo ad traffic.

I’m going to walk you through the steps I took, and the results I had from this traffic source.

Case Study – Walkthrough:

Step 1: I created a simple opt in page (landing page).

Tip: you can use this tutorial for simple landing pages.

Step 2: Then, created a “Lead Capture & Opt-Ins” campaign in CPV Lab.

Tip: Here are mode details about this type of campaign.

Step 3: I went directly to 7daysbuyer.com, and signed up for their program.

Step 4: I entered in my details, and added my landing page url on the order page. I had them write the ad copy for and left the ad copy field blank.

Then, I completed my order.

Results: Surprisingly, I had 58 leads (subscribers) from around 120 clicks in less than 24 hours.

Note: There were more clicks that came in, and the opt in rate dropped to about 45%. .

Most of the traffic seemed to be comming from mobile devices, so it can be really important to make sure your landing pages are optimized for mobile otherwise you might be leaving money on the table.

These are the techniques I use to optimize my landing pages:

  • Compress images
  • Compress html
  • Use a CDN
  • Mobile optimize pages
  • Backup images using an onerror event for page loading errors.

Conclusion: I still need to follow up with the subscribers, but I think this is a great traffic source to test out if you promote products in the biz opp niche.
