Set DNS Settings <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After purchasing your domain, navigate to your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.domain.com\/help\/article\/what-is-dns-record?utm_campaign=dynamic_PPC&amp;utm_source=googleads&amp;utm_medium=genericsearch&amp;channelid=P13C46098636S570N0B5578A30D4499E0000V110&amp;gad=1&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjw7c2pBhAZEiwA88pOF2I0uwe7mMrVHS83qppecqbU6uYmPRf2H-40WNhshX34rK7I7I3rOxoCRtQQAvD_BwE&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DNS settings<\/a> page on Namecheap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on MANAGE and<strong> set the Nameservers to Namechiep BasicDNS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Change the advanced DNS settings to those provided by CPV One <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can find <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/docs\/CPVOne\/custom-tracking-domains-cpv-one.html\">all the details in setting up the custom domain with CPV One.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to define a CNAME record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you open Advanced DNS, you will get this data from the image below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They will be deleted by themself after you add a CNAME Record with<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CNAME Record<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; the CNAME record should point to&nbsp;<code>cname.clpcld.com<\/code>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you already have an CNAME record for the custom tracking domain, then edit this CNAME record. Otherwise create a new CNAME record with the following details:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Type:&nbsp;<em>CNAME Record<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Host:\u00a0<em>@<\/em> <em> (or something like go, start, track if you will not use the entire domain for tracking)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Value:&nbsp;<em>cname.clpcld.com<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TTL:&nbsp;<em>Auto<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>3600<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Add Domain to <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvone.com\/?utm_source=elisabeta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CPV One<\/a>:<\/strong> Once your DNS is updated, log into your CPV One account. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head to &#8220;settings -&gt; custom domains&#8221; and add your new Namecheap domain with HTTPS in front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our case, it will be <code>https:\/\/scale-better.com<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you click on the save domain at the beginning you will get this message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the DNS Propagation here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-13.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the beginning, all data will be marked with a red X. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the time they change in the green checklist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> After 30 minutes, I had this situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see if there are red Xs on the map on the left side too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, all servers had green checklists after maybe 40 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-11.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>and CPVOne verified that the domain is set up correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-12.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create your first campaign with your domain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Check our <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/2023\/09\/18\/cpv-one-for-campaign-analytics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guide to Create Landing Page Tracking Campaign<\/a>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There I explained step-by-step how to create a Landing Page Tracking campaign with CPV One.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used the tracker domain when creating tracking links in this article. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no reason to duplicate the article, so in this tutorial we will cover only the part about using custom domain settings in the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything else is the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you create a new campaign In Step 1 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/docs\/campaign-setup-page.html#general-settings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Campaign Settings<\/a>, you will choose your domain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add a new domain for every big campaign or use one domain for all campaigns. It is your choice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to your plan, <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvone.com\/pricing.php\">you can add up to 100 domains.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-14.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t need to create a new campaign to change the domain name, so I only edited the one I had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/authorlab.pro\/layout\/domaincpv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2052\/2023\/10\/domain-15.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything else remains the same.
