There is no need to stress out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are just some minor differences which are related to the TikTok Ads interface and to the TikTok conversion integration that we will go through in this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-white-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"nobgblock has-white-background-color has-background\"><em>If you are new to using <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/2022\/02\/25\/tiktok-in-affiliate-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TikTok in your affiliate marketing campaigns, read this article first<\/a> \ud83d\ude09<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>You will find here how to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>define the campaign in your <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\">link tracker<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>generate the TikTok Pixel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>setup the campaign in TikTok and track the results in your ad tracker.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step1: Define the campaign in the marketing tracker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1) First step is to make sure that you have the TikTok definition included in your CPV Lab Pro instance. Go to the Traffic Sources page and import TikTok from the Catalog, if necessary, then save it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2) Now create a new campaign in your CPV Lab instance. Enter a name and choose the Data Options that you want to have tracked. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-white-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"nobgblock has-white-background-color has-background\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">It\u2019s very important to always select <strong>User Agent<\/strong> for TikTok campaigns and also the other metrics that you want to see for your visitors.<\/mark><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/UserAgent.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-579\" style=\"width:399px;height:306px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/UserAgent.png 550w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/UserAgent-300x230.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3) Select TikTok as the traffic source. You will see the main tokens (like Target, Ad, External ID) already pre-filled and you can select other data to be captured in the Extra Token fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"329\" src=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/traffic-source-1024x329.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-580\" style=\"width:707px;height:226px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/traffic-source-1024x329.png 1024w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/traffic-source-300x96.png 300w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/traffic-source-768x247.png 768w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/traffic-source-850x273.png 850w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/traffic-source.png 1372w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4) Define the offers that you are promoting by entering them in the Offers section. You can also define the landing pages if you want to send visitors to such a landing page first and then to the offer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5) In your ad tracker, you will get the Campaign URL which is the URL that your TikTok traffic will be redirected to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2. Generate a TikTok pixel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CPV Lab Pro<\/a> you can pass conversion details from the tracker to TikTok in real-time, as soon as you get conversions from your offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This step is optional, but it is recommended in order to allow TikTok to optimize your ad delivery based on conversions received. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>>>> <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/2022\/03\/16\/tiktok-tiktok-are-you-tracking-them-or-not\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Check this article to find out more details about the TikTok API integration with CPV Lab.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to generate the TikTok pixel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The integration is made by using a TikTok Web Event, also named a<strong> TikTok Pixel<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the <strong>TikTok Ads Manager<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Assets -&gt; Events page<\/strong>, then choose <strong>Web Events<\/strong> and \u201cSet Up Web Event\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now select \u201c<strong>Events API<\/strong>\u201d in order to create a pixel integration through the API. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter a name for the Pixel and choose <strong>Manual installation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"463\" src=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/tiktok-events-api-1024x463.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-581\" style=\"width:673px;height:303px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/tiktok-events-api-1024x463.png 1024w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/tiktok-events-api-300x136.png 300w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/tiktok-events-api-768x347.png 768w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/tiktok-events-api-1536x694.png 1536w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/tiktok-events-api-850x384.png 850w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/tiktok-events-api.png 1620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>Next <\/strong>and you will have the pixel details which are needed for the integration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Pixel ID<\/strong> \u2013 at the top of the page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Access Token<\/strong> \u2013 obtained by clicking the button in the page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Make sure that you save these 2 details in a safe place!!<\/mark><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Go back to the campaign setup page in <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\">CPV Lab Pro<\/a> and look for the<strong> TikTok API<\/strong> integration section near the bottom of the page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is where you enter the <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\"><strong>Access Token<\/strong><\/mark> and <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\"><strong>Pixel ID<\/strong><\/mark> details from above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"503\" src=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Tiktok-Pixel-setup-in-CPV-Lab-1024x503.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-582\" style=\"width:726px;height:356px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Tiktok-Pixel-setup-in-CPV-Lab-1024x503.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Tiktok-Pixel-setup-in-CPV-Lab-300x147.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Tiktok-Pixel-setup-in-CPV-Lab-768x377.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Tiktok-Pixel-setup-in-CPV-Lab-1536x754.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Tiktok-Pixel-setup-in-CPV-Lab-850x418.jpg 850w, https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Tiktok-Pixel-setup-in-CPV-Lab.jpg 1592w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3. Define the campaign in TikTok<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Access the TikTok interface and setup your campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Choose to create a new campaign<\/strong>, then select a goal. The best option from here is Conversions, but it can also be Traffic or Lead Generation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <strong>Select as Promotion Type<\/strong> \u201c<em>Website<\/em>\u201d because you want to send visitors to your landing page or offer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <strong>Select the Pixel<\/strong> that you have generated at step 2 in order to send conversions to TikTok.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Define your target audience<\/strong> for your Ad Group based on Location, Languages, Gender, Age and Interests. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Setup your ad creatives.<\/strong> Upload a video or choose one from your gallery, then add your best text to it. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Destination section<\/strong>: put the <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Campaign URL<\/mark> <\/strong>provided in <strong>CPV Lab<\/strong> as the URL. Visitors that click on your ad will be tracked by the Campaign URL and then quickly redirected to your landing page or offer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add more ad creatives<\/strong> as it is a good idea to have 2 or 3 creatives setup in your campaign.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4. Reporting and stats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Check your results with the real time reports and detailed stats from CPV Lab ad tracker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you get a conversion registered at the affiliate network level, it will be posted to <a href=\"https:\/\/cpvlab.pro\">CPV Lab Pro<\/a> and then passed back automatically to TikTok through the <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.cpvlab.pro\/integrations\/tiktok-ads-conversions-api-integration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TikTok API<\/a> integration. So you will have conversions tracked both in CPV Lab Pro and in TikTok in order to optimize ad delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aggregated reports about your visitors, ads, ad groups can be obtained using the <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.cpvlab.pro\/campaign-stats.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Campaign Stats<\/a> page.
