The standard approach to multivariate testing is to create a separate landing page for each combination of elements you want to test. Three headline variations, two background images, three button colors - that's 18 pages to build, track, and maintain.
MV Lab eliminates that. You define the variations inside MV Lab, embed a single script on your landing page, and it rotates the combinations automatically.
CPV Lab tracks which combination performs best.
Choose which elements on your page you want to test: headlines, subheadlines, images, button colors, button text, any HTML element. Add your variations for each. MV Lab generates the combinations automatically.
MV Lab generates a PHP file and a script tag. Upload the PHP file to your server. Add the script to your landing page. No coding required beyond a copy-paste.
CPV Lab captures which variation each visitor sees and whether they convert. The reporting shows CTR and conversion rate per combination - so you see exactly which headline, image, and button color together perform best.
Requirements:
MV Lab works with PHP landing pages hosted on your own server. The page must be accessible in PHP format (.php extension). WordPress-hosted pages will be supported soon.
MV Lab inserts your variations directly into the page HTML - so it tests the actual elements your visitors see, not a separate test environment.
Most testing tools show you which single element performed best. MV Lab shows you which combination of elements produced the best result - because "headline B with image 2 and red button" is not the same as "headline B with image 1 and green button."
MV Lab is not a standalone product - it is an add-on to CPV Lab or CPV One.
