CPA Network - Approval Guide

CPA Network Approval Guide

Posted on December 23, 2023February 11, 2024 by Patrick H

CPA (Cost-Per-Action) marketing is a cornerstone in digital advertising.

Unlike traditional advertising models, CPA campaigns focus on achieving tangible results, such as sales, subscriptions, or form submissions.

This performance-based approach ensures advertisers pay only for actions directly contributing to their business goals.

As a result, CPA marketing is highly valued by businesses seeking a direct return on investment, making it an indispensable tool for companies aiming to maximize their marketing efforts with precision and accountability.

For marketers and affiliates, mastering CPA campaigns is essential to cater to these business needs, offering an opportunity to generate revenue by driving desired consumer actions.

Getting the top offers in CPA marketing is one of the most important factors of having successful CPA campaigns.

But, in order to get the top offers you need to get approved to the top affiliate networks. In this guide we’re going to show you what you need to know in order to get approved to best affiliate networks we know of online.

Getting approved

To get approved to any CPA network there are a few things that are good to do before contacting a CPA Network:

  1. Make sure you have a website with an email address that ends with your domain name( like yourname@yourwebsite.com) Admin@domain.com is a big red flag for networks and is one of the most commonly used by fraudsters unless the company is well known already. This would decrease your approval to get into a network.
  2.  Try to have a professional looking website or blog.
  3. Be honest. Remember you want to be on the good side with the network and the CPA affiliate managers. Your affiliate managers are going to be the ones that help you get the best offers for your niche.
  4. Most CPA networks are going to want to know how you’re going to run traffic. When you contact the network make sure you know what a landing page is, and the professional terms for URL Parms, postback URLs, cookies, and PPV/CPV traffic (which is called “contextual traffic”).
  5. If the CPA Network has a phone number, call them. Most of the time CPA networks have a lot of people to approve and sometimes they might not get back to you. If you can, once your application is submitted call them right away.
  6. Have a professional tracker like CPV One or  CPV Lab  already installed before hand with landing pages ready to go in case the network wants screenshots.
  7. Know how to track with sub ids and postback URLs, and understand the terminology in case it comes up during the interview process. Use professional affiliate tracking software, like CPV One or CPV Lab.

After securing approval from CPA networks, the focus shifts to effectively managing and optimizing your campaigns.

This is where a robust tracking tool like CPV Lab becomes essential. CPV Lab, a powerful self-hosted ad tracker (having a cloud-based tracker version as well), allows you to monitor and optimize various aspects of your CPA campaigns.

It integrates with multiple ad platforms and traffic sources, providing valuable insights that can significantly enhance the performance and profitability of your campaigns.

The journey of CPA network approval requires a blend of preparation, like setting the tracking domain, and the right tools.

Following the guidelines outlined in this guide can enhance your chances of getting approved by top CPA networks.

Additionally, leveraging CPV Lab‘s comprehensive tracking capabilities can further elevate your marketing campaigns, allowing you to optimize and scale your affiliate link tracking efficiently, regardless of whether you use direct affiliate links or landing pages.

This integration paves the way for success in the competitive landscape of CPA marketing.
